Saturday Soccer gets kids off the screens and out onto the field where they learn soccer skills and fundamentals in a fun, competitive, supportive environment that encourages teamwork and good sportsmanship. Participants develop both as players and as people and form lasting friendships while discovering their mutual passion for the game of soccer. We offer two seasons each year, spring and fall, as well as kick-off camps at the beginning of each season coached by the Lakewood High School coaches and players.

• Players are welcome at all skill levels between the ages of 4 and 14. There are no tryouts.
• All games are held at Memorial Fields (U05 -U08) and Tyler Field (U09 - U14) in the Metroparks on Saturday mornings.
• Spring season consists of 6 games that typically run from mid-April through May.
• Fall season consists of 8 games that typically run from Aug-Oct.
• All teams are coached by knowledgeable volunteer parents
• Players will have at least one practice per week - time and location to be decided by the coach
• One optional footskills session offered each week during the spring season, weather permitting

• Players are required to wear shin guards and bring a water bottle to all LSA events. 
• Soccer ball sizes:
  • U5 - U6 - Size 3
  • U7 - U11 - Size 4
  • U12 - U14  - Size 5

• Registration will be open January 12 - February 17.  The price is $60 per player.
• We cannot accept any new registrations after Tuesday, February 17.
• Our goal is to have team assignments sent out the week of March 16. Game schedules will follow.
• Games begin April 11 and will be held on Saturday mornings through May 16.
• Game start times are 08:30, 10:00, and 11:30 a.m. and will vary each week.
